Greyhounds are sight hounds that have the body of an athlete and grace of a dancer. Intelligent, loyal and affectionate best describes their personality. Empathetic and social by nature, they are a serene, mannerly breed with an advanced sense of humor. Once the greyhounds are no longer able to race, these adult dogs are in need of a home. As a pro-greyhound organization, Greyhound Action League (GAL) of Buffalo, Inc. places retired racers in appropriate, responsible and loving homes throughout the Western New York area.

Greyhound Action League has been endorsed by the National Greyhound Association as a responsible adoption group. We are actively receiving geyhounds for placement, but please keep in mind that we are working within the constraints of the COVID-19 pandemic.
